Popular actor Martin Clunes has invited the winning bidder of a lot in a charity auction to have a walk on part in his new TV series of Doc Martin.

Top auctioneer, Gary Batt of Duke’s in Dorchester will offer 20 lots, one of which will give you the chance to appear in front of a world audience of millions in the ninth and final series of the hugely popular drama, starring Dorset-based Martin Clunes.
Masterchef winner Mat Follas and business partner Katy Barnard are offering gourmet canapes and top Prosecco at The Bramble Café, Poundbury, on Thursday 10 May. The food is courtesy of Poundbury’s Brace of Butchers and Waitrose and the sparkling wine from the Dorset Wine Company.
